The Middle East is an area where vehicle is king and fuel is cheap, typically leaving little reward to find more environmentally-friendly methods of walking around.

But this year, as protests throughout the Middle East have risen the rate of oil, the problem of discovering alternative sources of fuel has come into sharp focus.

In a region that has one of the greatest carbon footprints on the planet, one company is from the growing pressure to discover options to oil. It's established the Middle East's very first plan to recycle cooking oil into biodiesel. It's showing successful too, currently their client-list consists of McDonald's.
